WELL Training Packages
Greystanes has been funded on four occasions by the Workplace English Language and Literacy (WELL) Program (part of the Commonwealth Government’s Department of Industry) to develop language, literacy and numeracy training packages (LLN) for the disability services sector.
Our WELL training packages are flexible, tailored for the needs of the workplace and provide vocational education by underpinning LLN skills within units of competency from industry-specific training packages. More information about each of our WELL training packages is below.

Their Feet in Your Hands (2008) – Basic Foot Care and Use of Ankle Foot Orthoses for People with Disabilities
People with multiple disabilities may have significant orthopaedic issues and may be unable to communicate the pain they are feeling. Therefore, it is important for support staff to understand basic foot care and to assist in the correct fitting of ankle foot orthoses. “Their Feet in Your Hands” is based on realistic work situations and is ideal for use in induction and training for direct support staff.
