Peter Poulos
President
Peter is the longest serving Board member, having been appointed as a Director in 1995. He is the owner/manager of Theo Poulos Real Estate in Katoomba and has many years of experience in the field. Peter has overseen many advances at Greystanes and brings his experience and commitment to people with disabilities to his role as President of the Board.
Jane Adams
Vice-President & Treasurer
Jane joined Greystanes’ Board in April 2018. Jane is an experienced and strategic educational and people leader with over 26 years in the Australian adult education environment, in both the Vocational and Higher Education sectors, with a broad background in hospitality. Her last role was with an international private higher education institution, where she led the campus leadership team delivering quality student experience and well-being initiatives at campuses across Australia, New Zealand and China. She has had extensive experience managing large budgets as well as large capital expenditure projects over the years. Qualifications: MBA (Business Research), Bachelor of Teaching (Adult Education) and Diploma Hotel and Catering Administration.
Robert Tinsey
Secretary
Robert Tinsey is the Chief Executive of Greystanes Disability Services. Robert Tinsey joined the Greystanes Board in June 2012. He has been a solicitor for over 36 years, practising as a sole practitioner in Katoomba since 2002. He has degrees in Economics (major in accounting) and Law, with considerable experience in corporate and commercial matters. Robert is a Life Member of Hepatitis NSW, having served as a Board member for over 10 years. He has been an honorary solicitor for numerous service clubs, branches of charities and community organisations, and provided pro bono legal services throughout his legal career.
John Rankins
Director
John was the treasurer for the Greystanes Foundation. John has worked in both the public service and family business, including a stint as a Federal Ministerial Advisor. John has lived in Katoomba since 1979, commuting daily to Sydney for work for many years. In 2006 John qualified as a conveyancer with Macquarie University and is a licensed conveyancer and consultant to Southwick Conveyancing in Katoomba.and consultant to Southwick Conveyancing in Katoomba.
Nicholas Tziavaras
Director
Dr Nick Tziavaras (FRACGP MBBS) was a Director with the Greystanes Foundation. NIck has had over twelve years’ experience in general practice and has an interest in all aspects of health care, health promotion and children’s health with particular interest in cardiovascular disease and disease prevention.
John Scutt
President
John is a Managing Director of the Lindfield Partners Pty Ltd. He has successfully provided a range of business advisory services for Small Medium Enterprises clients since 2006. Over a 35 year corporate career, John has worked with a range of international and local companies in senior roles from Executive Director, CEO, CFO and Company Secretary. These organisations include well recognised brands: BHP Group, Shell Australia, Y&R Group, DFS Group, Allders PLC, TVSN Limited, CiTR Pty Ltd, Inventis Limited. John’s commercial experience, both from investor and management perspective covers a broad range of disciplines including board, C suite management, operations, sales, distribution, marketing and financial roles.
