Enablement Award 2019

Greystanes Disability Services would like to thank Disability Update for nominating and awarding Greystanes a 2019 Enablement Award.

Robert Tinsey, CEO of Greystanes Disability Services received the award in Melbourne on the 1st of August 2019.

Greystanes was adjudicated to have been the best exemplar in the Disability Care, Housing and Services sector for the “Chief Excellence Award for Disability Services in 2019” in Australasia. Not bad for a small NSW based Disability Service provider. 

Our Person Centred Active Support culture is practiced across the organisation from our frontline staff to management. Professor Julie Beadle-Brown, Centre for Applied Disability Research, Kent University visits us from the UK biennially to mentor and update our staff in the latest methodology ensuring that Greystanes remains innovative and best practice for person centred active support.
